Hello. My name is Bill. I was introduced to bash in Unix (not Linux) in 1991 (using a Sun Sparcstation on my college campus).
I have been using Linux at home since the mid 90's. I spent a couple years doing some subcontracting PHP/MySQL driven website work part time for the state division of blind services in the state I resided in at the time. For the last 12 years or so, I have also been using Linux at work to varying degrees. That has mostly been as a user rather than administrator with the exception of lab environments and the few years I had a Linux workstation. My job often entails writing up explanations and/or internal training materials.
I started using Raspberry Pis with Raspberry Pi3B about 7 or 8 years ago. Now have several Raspberry Pi3Bs, a few Raspberry Pi 4Bs and a Raspberry Pi5 that will be arriving shortly.
Lately I have been exploring using docker containers in my LAN.
