I recently tried Firefox on my RasPi4B 4G and it didn't fully crash but it could be unbearably slow. At one point I had to wait over five minutes before I could close Firefox. Wasn't too surprised since I've been a Firefox user since it was Phoenix 20 years ago and know how much PC power you need for a good Firefox experience.
My rule of thumb is you need 8G RAM minimum for Firefox and I generally only use it on platforms with 16G or more.
