Hi folks, I'm trying to add this DS3231 RTC module to a Pi 5:

While the Pi detects it, it won't make use of it. I was instructed to add these lines to the config file:
dtparam=rtc=off
dtoverlay=i2c-rtc,ds3231
...to turn off the internal RTC in the PI 5 and use the DS3231 module instead, but when I type sudo i2cdetect -y 1, it only shows the number address of the module, instead of showing UU. I don't want to use the ML2020 Pi 5 battery because I prefer the neater fit of the DS3231 module.
So how can I get the Pi 5 to make use of the DS3231 module?
