I am fairly au faix with IPv4 networking but am wondering. I have in my network four Pi devices, one runs a personal VPN, another runs Pi-Hole, a third runs an ADS-B server and my main one runs a web server, dlna, file server,
Now with IPv4 my domain name pointed to my router's public address and the router used ports to route to the correct Pi.
With IPv6 I understand the individual machines all have a global address viewable to the internet, so have I now got to have four domain names to achieve the same?
Appreciate I could combine a few servers but too much complexity on one device can cause issues.
