Hi guys.
I'm very new in this Pi-world, and i've been trying to get my hands on one of these beauties for years.
Now i've finally gone and done it, because i was satisfied with the reports of running a minecraft server (modded).
And i must say, i'm extremely pleased with the Pi5. I've attached a M2 drive and things are running beautifully![Wink ;)]()
Just as information, i'm running the latest software Raspberry Pi OS, and i'm using AtLauncher for my Minecraft needs (Servers are SO easy to setup and run)
I'm self taught, so please be patient with me, as i'm very old and feebleminded![Wink ;)]()
That said, everything is running smoothly, but as we all know.... Minecraft can make a mess of everything if left running for too long. SO!!!
I would like some hints how to go about resetting the Pi every 24 hours at a certain time, and then starting the server again.
So i'm thinking something along the lines of having the minecraft server running as a service of some kind, so it simply starts when the pi is rebooted. And then an automated shutdown every 24 hours.
How do i go about it?
