I agree that's probably the specification but l over the years l have plugged and unplugged the csi connectors many, many times and never had a failure, they need careful handling. The Pi5 connectors are a bit more fiddly but l haven't had a failure yet.The latches have a very low duty cycle. They are intended to be installed once and sealed up inside a product.
