Hello,
We are developing some testers for a production line. We are using a Raspberry pi 4 to develop a bash script with geany, later we place this script in ./config/autostart folder to start it when the system starts. This way we know what is doing the tester in the case it fails and then we can fix any issue. We access the testers by VNC in a VPN. At this time the testers use Rasperry Pi 3, but they are pretty big, so we are planing to use Raspberry Pi Zero 2W. What we are noticing is that 512Mb RAM is scarce for our use case.
To be honest we think that any Raspberry Pi worths every single penny we paid for them. They are exceptional products, but we think it would be interesting to mount 1Gb RAM in Raspberry Pi Zero 2W for the cases when developers need to keep a tester in a remote factory by VNC. For the moment we will use RPi 3, but we think that 1Gb in Zero 2W would be a great upgrade for a so small factor SBC. In out case it would allow us to make smaller testers.
Regards,
