Do you need Chromium? There are lighter Web browsers that worked in a Pi Zero back when I had one. With 512 GB, I was not able to do anything serious. It was more for a quick lookup for a config option.
Now I have Pi Zero 2 which is 64 bit and there are more choices. The 64 bit Pi models are ARM v8. The 32 bit models are ARM v6 or v7. Some software is labelled 32 bit but is compiled for v7, not v6. And they may change from release to release. I think I used Epiphany for a while but one release broke. There were smaller web browsers which worked in the Zero but failed for some Web sites as they could not handle the massive flood of Javascript spyware on most modern Web sites.
Forget Dillo. The smallest one that worked for me was: https://www.netsurf-browser.org/
