General discussion • Issues after soldering components

Hello all,

brand new into hardware, so be patient and don't assume I know basic things

I am trying to build a project with a GPS (NEO-8M) and an LCD (16x2) with a raspi pico. I been developing it with the help of a development socket, where everything was okay.

Now I try to build and solder the real thing, but it is driving me crazy. Can't make it work. LCD stops working (IO errors or Timeouts, not listed in i2c.scan) or gps don't get any signal or none are working.

I know, it sounds too obvious, bad soldering, but been doing several tries and nothing. Tried soldering firs lcd alone, it works, then gps alone, it works, now both, stops working. Unsoldered everything, and solder only one component again and working, soldering both and stop working.

I bought 3 of each component, so I been trying for a while, and don't know what to do. I take that I don't know how to solder properly, but one component at I time, I make it work, why never worked when I connect both?

May I be missing something else?
