I don't write printer drivers, lol.Just double checked and these label printers have USB/Serial/Centronics connectors on them!
So, I am hoping that will make things a lot easier, at least i can keep the USB for upload etc.
Just need to decide if I should just use the serial port, or if i should try and get fancy and create a parallel port connection

I should say that the vast majority of my experience is with laser printers and Windows. Businesses really don't run Linux, UNIX maybe, Macintosh also. So, I probably don't know much about what your device can do or not. However, it is interesting.
RS-232 serial! Lucky! What kind of driver is it now? What is the make and model of the thing? Yes, a serial adapter... I think that is a good idea... needs a driver though?
