Recently my Firefox on my 32 bit Raspberry Pi OS told me with https://www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/welcome/21/ that I need to update until March 2025.
Following the default package list there's no newer version (for https://packages.debian.org/bullseye/firefox-esr there is, but not for Raspberry Pi OS).
Following https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/in ... ecommended I ended up with apt telling me it can not find packages for my architecture (armhf).
I currently can't upgrade or even reinstall the OS (11/Bullseye --> 12/Buster) and want to avoid the fully manual installation (and update) option described at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/in ... lla-builds.
I also thought about using backports but I don't think that's a good idea in general. Flatpak with a container approach is not great for older not that powerful Pi's I guess (never used it).
That said, what is the best option to upgrade Firefox-ESR?
What are chances, the sources for 11/Bullseye based Raspberry Pi OS will update the Firefox-ESR version?
