I've been running a convention registration system on Pi4B-4GB since not long after the came out. To that has been added Apache2 to provide a GUI interface for those entering data. I haven't had any issues for a convention with up to 1800 attendees, half a dozen people doing data entry, a background program that prints badges (for which it has to both read and update database rows), running a replicated database on a separate Pi4B-4GB, plus keeping an eye on all of it myself.

I'm planning to upgrade to Pi5s this year (after the convention as I don't do changes like that in mid-stream), but it's to get better physical packaging once the add-on M.2 board is released so that the mass storage SSD will be inside the case instead of outside connected to a bulky USB to SATA adapter. The extra performance will be nice to have, but is hardly essential.

The only improvement I'd like to see would be for MariaDB to allow the two systems to be symmetrical rather only being able to update the master in order to maintain consistency between the two databases. I imagine that will happen in time (or it has already happened and I don't know about it).
